Grupo PUNTACANA was founded in 1969 with a vision of a resort that protects and embodies the essence of the Dominican Republic’s rich culture and scenery. The resulting world-class eco-chic luxury property includes hotels, golf courses, restaurants, lounges, yachting facilities, private estates, an international airport and ecological reserve. Since 1997, the owners of Grupo PUNTACANA are Theodore W. Kheel, Frank R. Rainieri, Julio Iglesias and Oscar de la Renta.
