Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. — Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) announces that it has obtained Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Level 3, an international recognition that endorses its commitment to environmental stewardship, emissions reduction, and transparency in its operations. This milestone consolidates Punta Cana Airport as a benchmark for sustainability in the Caribbean region, reflecting responsible management and a conscious approach to its environmental impact, aligned with international best practices within the airport industry. Since its inception, Punta Cana Airport has embraced sustainability as a fundamental pillar of its development model, integrating it as a key criterion in operational management, infrastructure planning, and its long-term growth vision.
